"Visionary Architect on the Southwest: On The Mary Colter Trail"  An expert panel discussion about famed designer Mary Colter's innovative designs of landmark spaces for the Fred Harvey Company's "Harvey House" inns and lodging/tourist spaces for the Santa Fe Railroad, notably in Grand Canyon National Park (the Hopi House, Hermit's Rest, Desert View Watchtowere and Bright Angel complex, among others.

Lend a hand, every Friday, as we open up the farm to the community to try their hand at growing food. We plant, harvest, compost, mend the soil, pull weeds, and more. All ages are invited, as new volunteers are paired with seasoned volunteers to work on farm projects together.

Haunted OC

A collection of history, and true ghost stories from one of Orange County's most haunted places.  Walk through Old Towne for some spooky charm, while we talk of things that go bump in the night, antique stores that deal in goods that may carry a deadly past, and  learn about restaurants where meals may be served alongside the dead.  Ages 12+, Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  $34.24.  Also Jun 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, etc.

Santiago Creek Greenway Alliance

Every Second Sat

Join the community to clean-up the creek.  Pick up trash, pull weeds, remove invasive plants, water new seedlings & sometimes even plant new trees and shrubs along the creek.  We meet the second Saturday from 9 - 11 am.  Locations vary (meet at 590 South Cambridge St at Santiago Creek on Dec 13).  Confirm prior at www.facebook.com/santiagogreenway.
