Lend a hand, every Friday, as we open up the farm to the community to try their hand at growing food. We plant, harvest, compost, mend the soil, pull weeds, and more. All ages are invited, as new volunteers are paired with seasoned volunteers to work on farm projects together.

One of our most popular and fun days, as little ones learn about beneficial insect friends through entertaining talks, activities and stories, that will also include a craft station hosted by Tiddlywinks Toys, Doodle Bugs Animation Adventurres, with live bugs on display, a ladybug release by The Potting Shed and a native bee display/activities by UCI Market Science, worm composting and more.

Floral Park Neighborhood Association
Take a tour of Floral Park's gardens and vintage homes that date back to the 1920s. In addition to a vintage car display, a “Street of Treasure” full of shopping opportunities will be open to explore. Enjoy food from local restaurants, a Wine & Beer Garden, as well as live performances. $50 per ticket. Profits help provide scholarships, fund local charities, historic preservation, and more.

Join us for our Spring Bag-of-Books Sale. Buy a "Friends of the Orange Public Library" (FOPL) bag for $5 and fill it to the brim with secondhand books. If you bring your own FOPL bag you only pay $4 to fill it, and FOPL members are allowed access an hour early, at 10 am, with membership available to be purchased at the door.
