Maureen Cardenas at Country Roads Antiques & Gardens

A resident of Orange since 1988, Maureen Cardenas has deep roots in the community.  Even as a teenager growing up in nearby Santa Ana, she spent time in the Plaza attending events like the Street Fair.

“I’ve always loved the Circle,” she says.  “There’s something special about it.”

Married since high school, Cardenas is the proud mother of two children and grandmother to three.  One of her favorite parts of life in Orange is having her daughter and family living directly across the street, allowing for daily time with her grandchildren.

Professionally, Cardenas works at H2 Pediatric Dentist, where she began more than 40 years ago as an intern and now serves as Office Manager.  Working with children has always been her favorite part of the job.  Now longtime patients return with children of their own.

Cardenas appreciates how Orange continues to change while maintaining its character.  She especially enjoys seeing younger families moving into the area.  “I would love things to stay small, but I know you have to have growth,” she says.

When named coupon winner, Cardenas chose Country Roads Antiques & Gardens.  She loves searching for vintage items and plans to browse for candles, books, crafting items, and anything that sparks creativity.
