Owner Steve Shafer first became a solar contractor in Nevada in the 70's, then moved to Orange County where he specialized in solar systems and water filtration and purification system. When Steve and Ruthe married in 1989 they opened their doors as owner/operators of Shafer Plumbing Contractors.

The company has grown from a mom and pop operation to a full service plumbing company, specializing in problem solving for a wide base of residential, commercial and industrial customers. Our technicians are trained in the same problem solving model for which Shafer Plumbing Contractors has become known over the years: Our number one priority, from residential service calls to large commercial projects, is to discover customers' needs and to solve their plumbing problems.
