Santiago Creek Bike Trail Dedication & Ribbon Cutting
Join The City of Orange on Saturday, February 11, 2012 for the Santiago Creek Bike Trail Dedication and Ribbon Cutting. This long-awaited project has been in the works since 1969 and so it is with tremendous pride the city dedicate the Santiago Creek Trail which will offer bicyclists, joggers, walkers, and nature lovers a paved, off-road adventure along the beautiful Santiago Creek Waterway.
The event will take place rain or shine, behind the Sports Center at Grijalva Park, located at 368 N. Prospect Ave., in Orange. In the event of rain the ceremony will be held inside the Sports Center. Festivities are scheduled 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and include a ribbon cutting ceremony that will dedicate the north and south portions of this project, followed by the serving of light refreshments. Orange residents and their families are encouraged to attend this momentous occasion.
