Active Aging Week Comes to Park Plaza Orange
Park Plaza, along with 18 other Kisco Senior Living Communities, in six states will serve as an official host to various Active Aging Week activities the week of September 25th October 1st. This role comes easy for Kisco as they live and breathe the philosophies that guide the national event every day. At Kisco Wellness is an important part of daily life.

Active Aging Week is organized by the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA), an association that supports professionals who develop wellness and fitness facilities and services for adults over 50. The annual health promotion celebrates individuals who live life as fully as possible within the six dimensions of wellness (physical, spiritual, cognitive/intellectual, social, emotional, professional/vocational/environmental) and embrace activeaging their daily life.
Kisco Senior Living is an ICAA member and has recently been recognized as an ICAA Champion Organization. This program is part of ICAAs Changing the Way We Age® Campaign, an initiative that aims to shift the way society perceives aging.
Saturday, September 24th
Park Plaza kicks off Active Aging Week a day early with their Annual Packard Days. Join Park Plaza from 10:30am2:00pm for their Packard Days which includes a delicious BBQ, live music by Hart and Soul, and gorgeous antique Packard Cars on display.
Sunday, September 25th
Enjoy Trivia with Fritz at 3:30pm
Monday, September 26th
The Newlywed Game at 6:30pm
Wednesday, September 28th
Another full day, starting at 11:30am1:00pm with a Picnic in the Park and then at 6:30pm the Move to the Memories Mixer will provide after dinner live entertainment, dancing and refreshments
Thursday, September 29th
Chair Aerobics with Joey Elumba with a Walk in the Park afterward at 9:30am, and at 2:00pm Decades of Music Social featuring live piano music
Friday, September 30th
Attendees can stop by for an All Day Photography Exhibit and Bingo Bonanza with special prizes at 1:30pm
Saturday, October 1st
Join Park Plaza at 9:30am for Tai Chi with Al
