The 50th Annual Golf Tournament is Here! Get Your 4-Somes Ready!

The Orange Chamber of Commerce 50th Annual Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Tustin Ranch Golf Club. Mark Murphy, Citizen of the Year is the Honorary Chair of the event and will help with the celebration of the Chamber’s 90th year anniversary.

“The Orange Chamber of Commerce has hosted the golf tournament for 50 years as a way for the business community to network in a casual setting, while supporting the Chamber of Commerce. Sponsors of the event make this long tradition possible”, said Larkin-Reed.

Orange Senior Center
The Orange Senior Center is the charity partner this year, with some of the proceeds going to the Center. Executive Director Tom Maldonado has been an active member of the golf committee. The Chamber wants to highlight the great work Tom has done with the Center and the important support they offer our great seniors.

Business Is Done Best with Friends
“The tournament is a great way to make business contacts during a casual setting,” said Heidi Larkin-Reed, President/CEO. “Even if you only plan to play in one tournament a year, this is the one not to miss because of all the possibilities to make great business connections.”

Banquet Celebrates 90th Chamber Year
After play there will be an outstanding banquet which will feature an auction to include:

  • A Utah Ski Trip
  • A Mammoth Vacation Package for six for four days
  • Angles Tickets
  • Revere Country Club golf package
  • Las Vegas Golf Package

Golfers Get Ready
“Golfers can expect great food, prizes, grab bag goodies, fun and networking”, said John Baker, Business Development for the Orange Chamber of Commerce. “If you want an opportunity to have a lot of fun while making great business connections, you need to sign up.”

The tournament will feature a hole in one opportunity offered by Freedom Cycles, food from local restaurants, putting contest, an awards dinner, a chance to win several raffle prizes and the opportunity to play on a great course.

Our committee has started gathering golfers, golf items, trips and more for this year’s event. Now is the time to get you’re 4-some together and get ready said Larkin-Reed.
