Here I sit in front of my computer writing my last article for the Plaza Review for the year 2011. Yes, time does go by in the blink of an eye. Speaking of that, on January 2nd 2012, Country Roads starts its 19th year of business. That number 19 just amazes me beyond belief. We have grown so much over all these years. And the biggest thing that I am thankful for is that we still have some of our original dealers as well as customers. I thank you all for the support and continued patronage over all these years. This means a great deal to all of us here at Country Roads. Thank you.
Please mark your calendars for a couple of really big sales scheduled at Country Roads over the next two months. Beginning Friday after Thanksgiving, November 25th, Country Roads will host a threeday sale! And for those of you who like to shop during our sales, Im sure you are aware of the fact that when we do a sale, we dont mess around. And then, on New Years Day, January 1st, 2012 from 10 am until 4 pm, we have the biggest sale of the year. I hope you can join us for our annual Id Rather Shop Than Watch Football Sale! As many of you know from the past, this is one of our biggest and best sales of the entire year. If I were you, I would shop early for the best stuff.
I hope this holiday season that each of us finds a place in our heart to reach out to those who need some extra help these days. As we all know, our world isnt the easiest place to live in for many. As Country Roads continues to support My Sister Joanies Purse Project through the Orange YWCA, we are always willing to help when we can. During this holiday season, maybe keep some extra food or a couple of bucks in your car. There are always people on street corners at traffic lights looking for help. I hope there is a way we can all help lessen their burdens. Sometimes a couple of bucks and a friendly smile is all someone needs to feel better about themselves. I again want to thank you all for the support and patronage you have given myself and my Country Roads family over all these years. Without that we wouldnt be the store we are today. Happy 2012 to each and every one of you!
